Unfortunately, the ark.intel.com site is often incorrect about which processors support EPT (extended page tables) and which do not. If you're looking up a processor on the ark.intel.com site, ignore what it says about EPT support. Instead, look for the "products formerly <xxx>" link.
If <xxx> is one of the following, the processor does not have EPT (because it pre-dates the technology):
